Project Name: The TIFA (Tuberculosis Implementation Framework Agreement) Project: – Placement of 17 Radiographers in 11 districts of Haryana to Screen Cases for Tuberculosis using AI-enabled Hand-Held Chest X-Rays
Project Location: Multiple districts in Haryana (11 districts across three operational zones)
Field-based position with extensive travel for outreach screening camps
Multiple Districts in Haryana –
1. Zone 1: Panchkula, Yamunanagar, Ambala and Kurukshetra
2. Zone 2: Kaithal, Karnal, Jind, Panipat, and
3. Zone 3: Rohtak, Sonipat and Jhajjar

Project Overview
NLRIF/DevInsight collabration with Haryana State Health Department  is going to implement an innovative AI-powered integrated TB and NCD Active Case Finding (ACF) model being supported by the JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. (JSI) that implements the Tuberculosis Implementation Framework Agreement (TIFA) managed by the United States Department of State (DOS).  The project is expected to start in June/July 2026.

Position Summary
The Radiographer will be responsible for conducting handheld X-ray (HHX) screening activities during outreach and community-based TB-NCD screening camps across assigned districts. The role includes operating HHX equipment, ensuring safe radiation practices, digital data entry and reporting, supporting Nikshay-related documentation, and coordinating with District Coordinator and district health teams for smooth implementation of camp activities.
The position requires technical competency in radiography, ability to work in field-based settings, and willingness for extensive travel across assigned districts.

Scope of Work:
1. HHX Screening & Diagnostic Support
• Conduct chest X-ray screening using Handheld X-ray (HHX) equipment during outreach and screening camps
• Ensure proper positioning and image quality for accurate AI-enabled interpretation and reporting
• Read and provide X-ray reports as per project protocol and approved workflow
• Support identification and referral of presumptive TB cases for further diagnostic testing
2. Data Entry & Digital Reporting
• Enter beneficiary and screening data accurately into laptop-based digital systems during camps.
• Support creation and updating of Nikshay IDs in coordination with the District Coordinator and district NTEP teams.
• Ensure timely and accurate entry of screening outcomes into Nikshay and other designated digital platforms.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of patient data and reports.
3. Coordination & Camp Operations
• Coordinate with District Camp Coordinators, frontline workers, and health teams during camp implementation.
• Support crowd flow and screening management during outreach activities.
• Ensure readiness and functionality of HHX equipment before and after camp activities.
• Facilitate smooth field operations and reporting processes during camps.
4. Equipment Handling & Radiation Safety
• Ensure safe handling, storage, transportation, and maintenance of HHX equipment.
• Keep HHX equipment in a safe and secure place after completion of camp activities.
• Strictly adhere to all radiation safety protocols, precautionary measures, and operational SOPs related to radiation hazards.
• Use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) and radiation safety accessories as required.
• Immediately report any equipment malfunction or radiation safety concern to supervisors.
5. Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain daily screening records, reporting logs, and equipment usage documentation.
• Submit regular field activity and performance reports to the reporting supervisor.
• Support geo-tagged documentation and validation processes as required by the project.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
• Master’s /Bachlor Degree/ Diploma in Radiography or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in radiography services, preferably in public health or outreach settings.
• Experience in operating digital X-ray or handheld X-ray systems.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to enter data using laptops and digital applications.
• Willingness for extensive field travel across assigned districts.

Desirable:
• Experience in TB/NTEP or community-based screening programs
• Familiarity with Nikshay or digital health reporting systems
• Experience working in outreach camps or mobile diagnostic units
• Knowledge of radiation safety standards and protocols
• Local language proficiency preferred

• Full-time, contractual (initially for 8 months; extendable based on performance and project continuation).
