DevInsight Partners has been shortlisted for a prestigious consultancy assignment funded by the African Development Bank to support the Ministry of Finance of the Federal Republic of Somalia. The objective of the assignment is to assist the Ministry in conducting a comprehensive institutional and functional review and in developing a robust five-year strategic plan, aligned with its mandate. This plan will serve as a critical roadmap for enhancing the Ministry’s operational effectiveness, governance, and financial management capacity, in line with national priorities and international best practices.

DevInsight Partners will leverage its extensive experience in public sector reforms and strategic development to provide key insights and technical support to the Ministry of Finance. This project is expected to significantly contribute to the Somali government’s efforts to strengthen institutional frameworks, promote financial stability, and advance sustainable economic development in the region.

Consultancy Service for Developing Sustainable Land Use Plan for Agriculture financed by IFAD, Maldives

Devinsight is honored to have been invited by the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Welfare to contribute to the IFAD-financed project, Consultancy Service for Developing Sustainable Land Use Plan for Agriculture. This significant initiative aims to assess groundwater availability and analyze land use trends and patterns across 14 islands in the Northern Atolls (HA, HDh, and Sh). The project’s overarching goal is to develop a comprehensive water and land use plan that supports sustainable agricultural practices, addressing key environmental and resource management challenges in these regions. Devinsight looks forward to leveraging its expertise to contribute to the sustainable development and resilience of the agricultural sector in the Maldives.

Devinsight Partners to Bid for Consultancy Services for Supervision of 204.7km Girav Feeder Roads Project in Gambia_ financed by the World Bank

DevInsight Partners has announced its intention to bid for consultancy services for the supervision of 204.7 kilometers of feeder roads under The Gambia Inclusive and Resilient Agricultural Value Chain Development Project (GIRAV). Funded by a $40 million IDA grant from the World Bank, the project aims to enhance market access and reduce post-harvest losses for smallholder farmers and agribusinesses across key regions. The initiative seeks to foster economic growth and improve social connectivity by reducing transportation costs and ensuring sustainable road maintenance in the WCR, LRR, CRR/North, CRR/South, and URR regions.

Consultant will oversee and manage the implementation of the project in accordance with the stipulated schedule. This will involve the following responsibilities:

  1. Phase I Implementation (5 Months):
    The Consultant will ensure the successful completion of Phase I by coordinating activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. They will liaise with the CPCU/GIRAV and NRA to confirm all deliverables meet the required standards.

  2. Phase Transition and Approval:
    Upon completion of Phase I,  Consultant team will facilitate the review process by the CPCU/GIRAV and NRA. They will address any feedback, provide necessary documentation, and ensure the project satisfies all outlined conditions to progress to Phase II.

  3. Phase II Construction (24 Months):
    Following the issuance of an administrative order from the CPCU/GIRAV and NRA, the Consultant will commence the supervision of Phase II. This includes overseeing construction activities, ensuring timelines are adhered to, and maintaining quality standards throughout the process.

  4. Defects Liability Period (12 Months):
    The Consultant team will continue to monitor and address any defects or issues identified during this period. They will coordinate corrective measures and provide regular updates to the CPCU/GIRAV and NRA, ensuring the project achieves its long-term objectives.
